Situated on some of the most coveted earth in Napa, the Fortuna vineyard basks in the center of the valley. Sitting at the base of an ancient rock slide, the large gravels and mineral rich earth provide the vines with good drainage and perfect terroir. Representing a 50/50 mix of clone 337 and clone 4 the resultant wine is one of power and style. The tannins are robust and prevalent throughout, supporting lush red fruits and a touch of cassis and spice.
